Add content from LibreOffice document to Joomla blog

I have a large (78 Megabyte) LibreOffice Writer (word processor) document that needs to be converted to a set of blog posts on a Joomla website.
This task would be to take the first 10 posts, and enter them into the Joomla CMS so that they look good. Images would need to be uploaded and setup so that they have thumbnails which expand to larger images.
The blog posts would be in the order that the content appears in the document.
The posts would be broken up based on the topics covered on another blog (I will give you more info on this once you accept the project).
Posts will be set to appear 2 times a week: Tuesday and Thursday, at 9 AM, for the next 5 weeks.
