SEEKING GRAPHIC DESIGN FREELANCER TO WORK WITH LEAD CONSULTANT LONG TERM
We are small boutique advertising agency and brand consultancy to some of Australia's largest food and beverage suppliers. We are looking for an experienced freelancer to work with the managing director/lead consultant to service our current client base.
The boss is located in Brisbane, Australia. She would ideally love someone who is located locally for face time but can adjust to skype for the right person - so they could be located anywhere in the world.
Most of our clients are in Sydney and Melbourne.
The workload varies from couple of hours to full time depending on how many projects we have on. This would suit someone who is happy with working solo and with one or two people, can make things happen FAST, and has great attention to details. We cannot have typos, errors in our jobs, our clients trust we provide perfect artwork every time. Someone who is also experienced with website and email design would be great, but not a deal breaker.
Honesty, integrity is important. We are highly ethical, and only like to work with nice people:) life is too short. The jobs we do are for A1 clients, so this is ideal for someone who wants regular work with nice people that appreciate them.
Experience is important so the right person can just get on with doing the work.
It is also really important to ensure the final artwork that is despatched to the printers is spot on, and will print as intended...this takes experience and expertise which we appreciate.
Speed, flexibility, ability to take direction, sophisticated designs, needs little direction, can work solo as freelancer and provide artwork that nails it generally the first time:) We don't have a lot of time for back and frothing. The boss doesn't micro manage either. The right person, pretty much get briefed and is on their own to get the job done and back for review.
When artwork changes are provided, it is really important that the freelancer checks the changes are done and accurately before sending proofs back. This is sooooo soooo important to us.
MUST BE EASY TO GET IN CONTACT WITH - FOR URGENT JOBS OR TO ANSWER QUESTIONS - Skype, mobile or email - and able to answer quickly....we work to tight deadlines and need to be able to communicate all sorts of hours. This suits someone who is keen to have flexible work hours, this is not a 9-5 job and the boss supports family time 100%. As the jobs get done in a timely manner, quickly and efficiently, we don't need someone to be on call 9-5pm...as long as the boss can contact you to ask questions/brief in jobs etc...
