Need someone familiar with the chemistry and components of exterior latex paint to aid in modifying existing solutions to fit my specific needs for a custom project. Looking for someone to ultimately create a specific hydrophobic coating system. I’m looking to create a clear super hydrophobic coating system than can be applied to exterior latex paint. This product needs to remain hydrophobic for 1-2 years In an exterior environment that could withstand weather and possible UV. I would also need to beable to reverse the hydrophobic properties (maybe a primer that breaks down the hydrophobic properties) needed to beable to paint over with latex based paint at a later time.
I am looking to own the rights a formulation of this product to beable to manufacture in larger quantities. This product would be need to be able to run through an airless sprayer or applied with brush and or roller. It would also be applied in public locations so no banned chemicals could be used in development.
