Rithmic trading API in C++

I have a project to write code in either C# or C++ to a Trading platform API.
The lines of code in the main part of the program are quite simple, I have already written them in pseudo code already. I have done a short course in programming so I understand programming a little bit.
We can work in one of two ways:
1. I can develop the code myself and pay you for your time in giving me the right guidance.
2. Or you can write the code yourself (but for this option you must have the relevant experience)
I have sample code from my broker and I have been told by my broker that the sample code is a good place to start and I can just super-impose my instructions on top of that code.
Also I have the relevant logging in instructions from the broker as well.
One last thing I would like to say, is that I am looking forward to developing a good relationship with a good developer and I have been down this route before in terms of looking for a programmer with no success, so I will say it again please only apply if you have the relevant experience.
