Android project needs tweaking

I have an xml file providing a layout and a .Java file which provides the code. My code needs some tweaking.
There are 4 buttons on the screen with a background image. There are also 4 ImageViews on the screen which shows 1 tick & 3 cross - if the right button is clicked a tick shows and vice versa.
Once the correct button is clicked an arrow is made visible (all working fine so far).
Once this arrow is clicked, the image views change to 3 different images and again the user has to select the correct image before proceeding. However my project is not working any further than that and I am struggling to change the ImageViews more than once (once the arrow is clicked on the second go nothing happens for some reason). There are also some issues with the layout which need fixed as the images don't stay where I want them to.
I think I have the code there it just really needs tweaking - I'm trying to just change the image views rather than create a new activity each time.
I am interested in bids that will be at the lower end of this scale as I'm not anticipating it to be a lot as work as I have most of the code already written.
