we have an application with some TCP and UDP ports, we need a small test application which will connect to a given port and receiver the data stream from the server and report the data rate based on the long term measurement (like 10sec) in Byte/sec and refresh the screen with the actual measured throughput received on a given port, IP address, port#, measurement time, TCP/UDP selection should be configurable, server connection is provided for testing
