Add MySQL capabilities to existing Delphi Win32 application.

Hello Bidders!

We're interested in having MySQL database capabilities added to an existing Delphi Win32 application (written in Delphi 2006).

It will be a standard customer information database with the Phone Number Field + Phone Extension Field as the primary key.

There will have to be a facility for splitting this key back up into two individual fields again when read in.

Attached is the current program (complied). You will need Office 2003 (at least Word, Office XP should work as well) and its automation facilities installed to test this program fully, as it spits a Word document out at the end via automation.

All required code and resources will be supplied up on acceptance of bid.

We would like to have a search button added to search for the customer information based on said phone number key.

If the phone number + phone extension isn't found, we'd like a method of adding the new record. Probably a popup form where all the new user info can be inputted.

We will tweak input field restrictions, etc. later, so plain string fields are fine.

There are a few more details that can be provided before or after the bid acceptance.

No information other than the customer contact information is required in the database.

We will be using a Windows install of MySQL on a server in our LAN.

Requirements:

- Delphi 2006 (2005 will probably work as well) experience.

- MySQL experience.

- Code comments, in English.

Payment:

- There will be a 30 day deadline on this project from time of bid acceptance.

- 1/4 of agreed bid amount will be paid weekly as partial work is submitted and reviewed.

- Full amount will be paid upon completion if less than 4 weeks

- Other arrangements can be discussed.

## Deliverables

1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done.

2) Deliverables must be in ready-to-run condition, as follows (depending on the nature of the deliverables):

a) For web sites or other server-side deliverables intended to only ever exist in one place in the Buyer's environment--Deliverables must be installed by the Seller in ready-to-run condition in the Buyer's environment.

b) For all others including desktop software or software the buyer intends to distribute: A software installation package that will install the software in ready-to-run condition on the platform(s) specified in this bid request.

3) All deliverables will be considered "work made for hire" under U.S. Copyright law. Buyer will receive exclusive and complete copyrights to all work purchased. (No GPL, GNU, 3rd party components, etc. unless all copyright ramifications are explained AND AGREED TO by the buyer on the site per the coder's Seller Legal Agreement).
