Automated FTP Sync Application

Please NOte: I placed this bif request in June and received several bids, but personal obligations prevented me from acceptig any of the bids. I re-activated the bidding on this project and contacted several of the original bidders a couple weeks ago, but received almost no responses, and no new bids, so I am resubmitting it to hopefully attract new bidders.

Visual Basic 6 module (with some screens) that can be incorporated into an application I am developing. Your utility will take a list of files on the local hard drive, compare them to a list you build of current files on a FTP server, then upload/download missing files and delete unneeded files from the server. This is basically a folder / FTP synchronization utility with a twist. Please see the detailed specs that are attached and please ask any questions you may have. I am an experienced programmer and will expect quality, professional code that uses sound programming techniques, meaningful variable names, complete documentation and complete error handling. I will not accept a project that does not meet these criteria.

The application must use standard FTP controls that can be redistributed freely - such as winsock. No proprietary controls may be used. I need to be able to work with this code without buying any special tools as well.

I do not need an installer for this project, since the code will become part of my larger application. However, I should be able to open your project in my copy of Visual Basic 6 and execute it based on the files you provide me.

## Deliverables

1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done. Source code must be fully documented and designed for simple intergration into an existing VB6 application. (modular)

3) All deliverables will be considered "work made for hire" under U.S. Copyright law. Buyer will receive exclusive and complete copyrights to all work purchased. (No GPL, GNU, 3rd party components, etc. unless all copyright ramifications are explained AND AGREED TO by the buyer on the site per the coder's Seller Legal Agreement).

## Platform

The program needs to work on a variety of operating systems, ideally from Windows 98-Windows XP, and needs to handle connections to a variety of FTP server applications. Please include any limitations in your bid. If you do not tell me your code will be limited to certain environments in your bid, but I find it is when I receive it, I may not accept it
