We are building a new website with Magento with prices-per-customer logic.
"Webtex prices per customer magento extension" will be installed.
Please refer to extension's sale page for more informations.
In Customer Information->Customer Prices tab this module implements:
1)Set price per customer for each product
2)Set price per customer for all products settings.
We also need to have “Set price per customer for all category/subcategory”.
Ideally, an accordion menu with categories/subcategories and relative price setting must be added in the Customer Information->Customer Prices tab.
Webtex extension is open source so this should be easy task for a skilled programmer.
Kindly note that website is going to deal with large number of SKUs (50.000+) and customers (30.000+), thus we can't just do "save on database all products of category with different price for all customers" as it will result in 50.000*30.000=[url removed, login to view] records...
The coder must implement this logic:
IF ( is set price per product per customer ) { use product price }
ELSE
IF ( is set price per category ) { use category price } // this is the missing part in webtex extension
ELSE
IF ( is set overall price ) { use overall price }
ELSE { use product price }
