Brochure writing and design

This project is to design and create a 16 page 8.5 x 11 4 color brochure for a company that provides doors, windows for railway transit cars and make brake system products for railway freight cars, locos and transit cars. You will provide the design, layout and the content, and provide it camera ready for printing and also as a pdf document for downloading from the website.

The purpose of the brochure is to provide a high quality marketing piece for a 95 year old industrial company that serves the railroad industry. The brochure will provide an overview of the company , its strengths and its main product lines.

We will provide a 14 minute DVD describing the company and simple black/white product sheets of the products currently made. We will show you samples of documents and brochures that are on competitors websites. You will use all this information to layout, design create the brochure, its look and feel. front and back cover.

You need to be prepared to take images from the DVD, since not much other color photography exists and the brochure needs to be in color. For any additional images needed to tell the story, you need to use copyright free images.

Printing of the final brochure from camera ready art is not included in this project, but providing 5 copies of the final brochure printed on a quality printer on quality paper

## Deliverables

This is a milestone based project and payments will be made on completion and approval of each milestone, as a percentage of the bid amount accepted.

Milestone 1: The winning bidder will provide 3 sample designs from which we will pick one and refine it with you. 2 printed copies of each brochure design willl be provided for review. Approval and selection of the design will constitute completion of milestone. Due = +2 weeks, payment 20% of bid

Milestone 2: Provide "second pass"" brochure with as much text content as has been created (the rest being dummy content) and layout the brochure with images. 2 printed copies of the brochure willl be provided for review. This will be refined, and approval of "second pass" will constitute completion of milestone. Due = +4 weeks, payment 20% of bid.

Milestone 3: All content and text etc will be completed and a pdf document provided of "pre-final" brochure. 2 printed copies of the brochure willl be provided for review. This will be refined, and approval of "pre-final" brochure will constitute completion of milestone. Due = +6 weeks, payment 20% of bid.

Milestone 4: Camera ready artwork, loading and proper operation of pdf brochure on the website and final "tweaking" , and approval of the completed "final" brochure. 2 printed copies of the brochure willl be provided for review. Supply of all camera ready art, 5 copies of the brochure printed in color and on a high quality printer, and the pdf document loaded and approved on the website will constitute completion of milestone. Due = +8 weeks, payment 40% of bid.

All images will either be from client DVD, supplied by the client , or delivered by you, copyright free. All textual content will be copyright free.

All deliverables will be considered "work made for hire" under U.S. Copyright law. Buyer will receive exclusive and complete copyrights to all work purchased. (No GPL, GNU, 3rd party components, etc. unless all copyright ramifications are explained AND AGREED TO by the buyer on the site per the coder's Seller Legal Agreement).
