I am looking for bids on the following! the development of a database and ASP website to achieve the following! I personnally have coding experience, however i find that I am busy with other projects that I dont have time to complete this task! This job could lead to other contracted work later on. I need you to: 1. Design a normallized Access Database for the Project. I am allowing this so you work in your style of programming. 2. Design a web site ASP perferrably to do the following: a) Allow a user to search a database of businesses to find matching records. b) Users should be able to select from a distinct list of Cities from a list dropdown box (multiple cities selection should be allowed) this box should be loaded at run time from all business cities in the database. c) User then to select the type of business search ie: plumbers, electricians, restaurants...etc! Again, this dropdown selection box, should be loaded in code, from the records in the database! d) As an administrator, i will need to update the database with new businesses that wish to be listed, This should be able to be done directly from a seperate update page of the web site! e) Graphics, and colors are open to suggestion, conservative professional. My company logo to be included, which i will provide for you upon acceptance! f) As a programmer myself, starting out, i will allow you to put a created by patch on the page in the bottom provided it is text only, no graphics, and it is smaller font, then the smallest font on the page! you may provide a link to your email address only from this creditation. Please note: THIS CREDITATION MAY BE REMOVED AT ANY TIME AND IS INCLUDED ONLY AS A GESTURE OF MY APPRECIATION, AND AS SUCH NO FINANCIAL PAYMENT IS EXPECTED FROM YOU TO HAVE IT THERE, NOR WILL THERE BE ANY RE-IMBURSEMENT IF THIS CREDITATION IS REMOVED DOWN THE ROAD! g) Use of cookies to remember the users last city searched would be a great assest so the next time the user goes to this page, it will be selected for them. h) User should be able to select a Link to created a new search from all pages. Page Layouts and Database design to be seen for acceptance. this should be done prior to starting your coding. these can be hand drawn ideas, and do not need to be computer images.
