I have a shopping cart already in place which I am happy with. There are a couple steps to the shopping cart. Once the item is placed into the cart there is no shipping charge shown, only the price for the item. Their next step is registration, then selecting the shipping method, and then the payment method.
I want to eliminate the step where they select the shipping method. All of our shipping is done by one carrier and is a fixed price by weight.
I would like for the shipping amount to show up as soon as an item is added to the cart.
We do have different items with different shipping costs and we do combine shipping and want that to automatically update in the shopping cart without having to go through the shipping method step. I can supply all pages I currently have and the database with examples.
## Deliverables
If this can be done in a timely fashion there will be a bonus. I just do not have the time to work on this.
