Create a Wordpress widget based on current Google calendar

Utilizing the current calendar already in place on my website [url removed, login to view] (which has been built using a mixture of an XML feed from Google Calendar and AJAX covering images and featured content); I would like to have this streamlined in to one simple widget that can be integrated in to any Wordpress website as a sidebar widget and ideally also made available as a free downloadable plugin for anyone.
