Collage builder using php jQuery

Hello developers

We're needing to build a web application to allow users to create collages.

We have items/objects available. All of them are images. Each item will have its unique id assigned.

User will browse items (images) and will choose one, drag it into collage zone, and then he should be able to

- rotate it

- resize it

- crop it

- remove it

- flip horizontally/vertically it

- move it inside the collage zone

Once all the items were organized in the collage, user should be able to save it as an image. Then user will compete against other users's collages but the work involved in this project is to build the collage maker

1- Application should be developed using php and jQuery (no matter if custom jQuery or 3rdparty plugins)

2- Clean and well named/explained Code. This is A MUST

3- Little documentation or commenting is a plus

4- Modularity. I need the collage maker app to be functional. I should be able to give it a design easily later. Or to be able to put it in the main website

I'm also attaching the final JPG designs so you can see the flow of the app, design, GUI, and so.

Remember. jQuery, PHP, css, html5. Nothing complex

New features/notes

1- the collage generator app will run inside a FB app (iframe tab app) I'll develop

2- Possibility to create different templates. Each template will have its own drop zones, so the user can generate a collage based in a template, so all of them don't look the same "structure/skeleton". Polyvore's demo url also have templates. Look at it

3- User can upload a picture from his/her pc and integrate it into the collage maker.

4- take a pic from webcam (*)

5- Insert a custom text layer, font, size, color (image number 10-.....)

6- Edit collage before publishing. Allow user to preview it and edit it with final changes. Once published, app generates the final jpg and no edit option will be available.

(*) If too complex or needs too money, forget this feature
