There is a research paper which is about the function approximation of RBF network and RBF network with node fault. It includes many sections and I would like to invite you to finish the first three tasks before going deeply.

Detail: (1)Given a trainning set and using least square fitting method, find out the weight vector of RBF network, use that weight vector and test set to get the function. Also find out the trainning set error and test set error.

(2) Under node fault situation, using different fault rates(each fault rates generate different fault vectors) and the above weight vector to find the corresponding average error and plot the graph(Average error V.S. fault rates)

(3) Calculate test set error by MPE formula
