We need to develop a Meter-bus protocol device driver for AggreGate Platform ([url removed, login to view]) using its open-source Driver Development Kit ([url removed, login to view]). AggreGate drivers are Java-based.
The driver must:
- Be based on jMBus library ([url removed, login to view]) or other open-source library
- Send some test command to a meter to make sure connection is available
- Get meter readings and represent them as AggreGate Device Settings ("variables of device context")
- Properly hangle all communication and data errors
