CLI for Dukascopy JForex API that will be Trader Contest compliant
- a console application for sending orders and managing positions
- trader contest compliant (see rules excerpt below and a link)
-- capture reasoning (options 1/2/3)
-- capture comment (200 char)
-- currency pair selection
-- order type selection (market/stop/limit)
-- direction (buy/sell)
-- entry price
-- target price
-- stop loss price
this is actualy would give for a small project but ...
I need proof of concept first:
this would be simply sending an order that would capture the reasoning and a comment that is postet on traders blog (see below)
I have limited budget for this POC, I hope $50 would do.

#Trader Contest rules
The main feature of the Contest is a requirement to comment all trading operations including a description of reasons and logic behind the trading strategy of Participants. These comments are collected into personal blogs of the Participants and on the main blog of the Contest. Visitors are offered to read, analyse and evaluate traders forecasts by rating or commenting them

----- notes
#1 check my contest blog for valid orders - some are having reasoning and comment, some dont - already tried to achive this
#2 check private void DS() in JForexClientLibrary.2.6.383\libs\[login to view URL]\com\dukascopy\dds2\greed\gui\component\dialog\[login to view URL] (used JAD)
#3 I can send you my plain java test but I guess using some of their code will be neccessary
title of this project is quite confusing here and would actually suite for a bigger project...
what I want to achieve here is just sending order via JForex API that would comply with Trader Contest rules
namely:
reasoning, which is one of three options: 1/ events 2/ technical 3/ personal
comment
profit target price
stop loss price
such an order should be visible in a trader's blog (see link to my blog) and comply with this criteria
I started in JForexClientLibrary.2.6.282 in com.dukascopy.dds2.greed.gui.component.dialog.OrderConfirmationDialog
and tried this
engine.submitOrder(getLabel(instrument), instrument, orderCmd, amount, 1.61, slippage, 1.60, 1.63, 0, "3::::::::::::::personal view test buy limit");
which obviously sent the order but the format of comment did not make it to the blog
