ArcSight Engineer

Required Education:

• BS

Required Certifications:

• GIAC (any); CEH, ACSA (ArcSight)

Required Skills:

• Experience creating basic ArcSight content such as Filters, Queries and Reports.

• Experience installing and configuring ArcSight connectors

• Experience implementing audit settings for Windows and Unix operating systems

Preferred Skills:

Security Clearance Requirement:

• MBI

Required Years of Experience:

• 3 years

Scope of Work:

Responsible for all of the following:

• Evaluate collection methodologies

• Develop Engineering Strategy and Design documentation

• Engineering and Content Creation

• Develop collection methodology

• Develop FlexConnector (if needed)

• Develop Parser Overrides (if needed)

• Develop Categorization Files

• Develop Filters

• Develop Rules

• Develop Active Channels

• Develop Reports

• Unit Testing - Platform 1

• Resolve Content Issues based on Unit Tests

• ArcSight Development Phase 3 Complete

Location of Work:

Remote or on-site in DC metro area (details will be given to awarded freelancer)
