Copywriter for Interior Design Course Content

Require a writer to create professional course content based on the elements of Interior Design. The course consists of seven modules, which will be created to be read sequentially.? At the end of each module, multiple choice assessments will be provided.? ?

**Target Audience:** Male and female, with no specific age range, who have a beginner’s interest in the field of Interior Design.? The purpose for their learning could be: Interest, career change, to their enhance career opportunities, to continue professional development.

**Communication Objective:** The course will provide the learner with the skills and knowledge to speak the visual language of design. **Module 1: The Visual Language of Design**

Here you will need to discuss the philosophy of interior design. Provide the learner with an understanding of how to see and what to see when observing interior design. You will also need to include an explanation of the meanings and messages behind styles and decorations.?

**Module 2: The History of Style Decoration and Architecture**

This module should focus on the history of design and architecture to present day. The content should build on the ideas set out in module 1, as the learner sweeps through the history. The origins of the language of design should also be included

**Module 3:**? **Colour- The Most Potent and Flexible Element of Design**

This module should include the properties of colour, the history of colour and the psychology of colour.? The learner should be provided with the skills and knowledge to introduce colour into an interior, in a way that allows them to change their mind, experiment and play.

**Module 4:** ? **Scale- Space Planning and Proportion**

The discussion of space in this module should be a conceptual and practical one.? The learner will gain the skills and knowledge to develop a space plan, and gain an understanding of the possibilities of structure, space, and new uses for a residential plan.

**Module 5:** **Light and Lighting**

This module will cover the properties of light and the orientation of a space. The learner will gain an insight on how light effects colour, fabrics and surfaces. An understanding of the technical and aesthetic possibilities of ambient, decorative and task lighting will be provided.

**Module 6: Furniture - Parts 1 & 2**

Using references from module 2 (The History of Style Decoration and Architecture), this module will survey the world of furniture and its many uses and applications.? Also the learner should be provided with an understanding of the following:
