Custom USB device design assistance and programming

Consult on component selection and circuit design, and provide embedded microprocessor programming for a USB powered device that will act as host for a common USB laser bar code scanner (USB HID device), collect the bar code data scanned by the device and pass that data to two (2) USB ports, independently acting as USB HID devices, one for each machine. ie: One USB bar code scanner sending scans to two separate PC's

After consulting on hardware and software design, you agree to deliver a functional breadboard prototype of the device capable of performing the desired function. You may bid on constructing the breadboard hardware or request that it be provided to you for programming and testing.
