Convert C# into C/C++ and Add Features

We need to convert a C# software into C/C++ and add features to enhance software and improve speed / portability. Speed and portability are key factors in this project. It is important that code compiles with Microsoft Visual C/C++ and gcc/g++.
Software converts patterns in other patterns (a simple form of regular expression where an expression / word is converted into another expression / word) that needs to be optimized since there are thousands of them. We are looking for someone that have good knowledge of list, search in lists, hash, etc to improve speed processing in some parts of code.
Documentation (source code and instructions to compile) is a must.

I can work on this for you, I have much experience in regex and optimization, as well as C/C++. Cross-compile / portability will not be a problem.
