Copywriting All Rounder for Australian Agency - We are seeking a writer who is confident to write about various topics with an Australian context. This includes blogs, website copy, product descriptions, ebooks etc. Our clients are all Australian businesses, which means that content must be written in a way that connects with their Australian audiences.
We always try to provide topics, titles, and where relevant examples and/or source material but on occasion clients provide very open ended briefs which will require your initiative and creativity from you. We will try to provide you with a client overview prior for you starting on writing for their business, however this relies on the client being proactive and returning this to us. This brief includes the tone of writing. Some clients will want a very professional corporate tone, while others prefer a more conversational and casual tone. So it is important for you to be diverse.
To begin with, we will issue you with one 500 word blog post to write. We will use this as a test (yes you will get paid). We will potentially test up to 3 candidates. Please quote accordingly, however ensure in your cover letter to explain your cost breakdown.
If we like your price, timeliness, quality of work and communication skills we will want you to continue writing for us.
Requirements
- English must be your first language. We do not want to have to translate broken English.
- Ability to work with our project management software - Trello
- Quick turnaround on work. While we understand you may have other commitments, generally we would like work returned within 24-48 hours. For writing longer than 1000 words, this time would extend up to 72 hours.
Please respond with: - Your quote for 600 words.
- Also include in the body of your proposal any other price structure for other work. For example, how much would you charge for a 400 word blog post? Do you charge per 100 words or something similar? I would love to see pricing for 400 words, 800 words, 1000 words and 1200 words.
