This is a little fun project. I need one illustration with the three main characters of the book In 80 days around the world by Jules Verne. These are:
Phileas Fogg, around 40 years old, tall, slim, light hair, beard. He is a perfect British gentleman and never loses his composture. A bit stiff and distant, but friendly.
Jean Passepartout, his servant. He is 30 years old, French, round face, reddish complexion, brown hair. He is shorter and muscular, as he was formerly a circus artist. He is jovial, sometimes nervous.
Aouna: Indian woman, young and pretty, with beautiful eyes, very charming, thankful that she has been rescued by Mr. Fogg.
The book plays in October 1873. The illustration should be in colour, and have a hand drawn appeal. The three characters need to have distinctive features so they can be recognized. The tone should be playful, for children. For this exercise, let's assume they pose as for a street artist who makes a drawing of them (in Hong Kong).

If this winner is better than mine in every aspect - art, color, concept, children illustration - then I really must drop my art skills few level's lower....Thanks for opportunity, sir, and congratulation to the winner artist, and thanks for you kindness but winner work is very very low quality ........sorry but I must say that.   I am sorry you are disappointed, and I understand your anger. I think these kind of contests are not fair, because many people will put in effort, which is not rewarded. Anyhow, for my purposes the one I chose works better. I actually hesitated to buy your work as well, but for the moment one illustration is all I need. I do not like to be called dishonest, though, regardless if my appreciation of art is at an artist's level or not. Best regards

  Hm... I will say this: If you give information and details about something you want, and if you receive a nice piece of art from artist, who is few days ago sold similar work for 100$, and who really trying to follow your instruction, and who really trying to convert all that wishes in nice and catchy piece of art, and than you award illustration (I will explain process of awarded illustration: download some existing picture from the google. Make some cheap filter in photoshop to look like it's draw. Than draw 3 character's with "no that good" art skills (I need 15-20 min to draw and paint that kind of character's) and submit entry with thinking "don't care, if like ok, if not ok to". And that you choice that work, where character's not even close to your description and background is not Hong Kong 1873 at all....that is make bad influence to our, artist who really trying to follow your description and wishes. That's all, sir, and good luck, I'm really finish with this. Bye.
