Social Media Manager Job Description

I am looking for a social media manager to help me create and repurpose inspirational content for my primary social media platforms: Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, X, and LinkedIn.

Skills and experience needed:
- Strong knowledge of the above social media platforms and their changing algorithms
- The ability to reproduce, create clean screengrabs, and repurpose content
- A good understanding of American English and grammar
- Copywriting and an understanding of basic design concepts
- Proficiency in using video editing apps, caption apps, and other tools for content creation and scheduling
- Understanding of current trends and best practices in SEO and social media marketing

The ideal candidate should be a self-starter, and be able to understand and execute my specific style and theme for the social media content. You can research my previous posts at instagram.com/lightwatkins

Responsibilities:
- Create and design high-quality posts that align with my brand and aesthetic
- Develop a content calendar and schedule posts to be published once a day
- Monitor engagement and respond to comments and messages in a timely manner
- Stay up to date with industry trends and suggest new ideas to improve social media presence

THE CONTEST IS AS FOLLOWS:

Create 5 posts that represent my style, along with captions.

Three posts must be compelling REELS that you create from three different podcast interviews of mine.

You can search them on YouTube.

Note: use clips from podcasts that I'm being interviewed on, NOT podcasts where I'm the one interviewing.

One post should be a carousel of up to 10 slides (you can create it using any content of mine that you find online). Please don't repeat posts that I've already done.

And one post can be a quote card using a quote of mine that you find online.

Please specify which platform you think is best for which type of post: Instagram, Twitter (or X), YouTube, TikTok, or LinkedIn?

Each post should also include a caption (except for Tweets).

And posts should be easy to review and download, because that's a part of the job.

The winner of the contest will be hired to produce this exact kind of content, so please don't hold back or mail it in.

Only someone who is detail-oriented, creative, and fast will be hired.

No typos in the captions please. One or two is fine, but multiple typos will disqualify you from consideration.
