Thanks everyone for your submissions. We have had over 300 entries and many of them were great. At this stage we are not looking at entries from new designers.

I am now going to leave comments on the short-listed designs to guide some simple revisions. I don't want to ask too much from you at this point, I'm mostly interested to see if I can work with you beyond this competition. I will save the contact details of designers whose work I like for later.

IF YOUR DESIGN IS SHORT-LISTED AND WE STILL LIKE IT WE MAY ASK TO BUY SOMETHING FROM YOU AFTER THE COMPETITION IS OVER, EVEN IF WE AWARD THE $100 PRIZE TO ANOTHER "WINNER".

ORIGINAL REQUEST BELOW:

I am looking for designers to produce a logo package to update the visual identity of our non-profit organization "Historians for Peace and Democracy" (www.historiansforpeace.org). Specifically, we need both a banner-style logo with our full name that can be used as a header for our website (approx. 1024x400) as well as a square logo (400 x 400) abbreviated to "H-PAD" that we can use for both the website and published materials such as flyers for events, newsletters, stickers, and similar.

There may be additional web design work after this prize is completed for the successful applicant. That work would use the banners and other design elements they have made to complete a visual overhaul of our current WP site using Elementor. That would be a more substantial job, so I hope it encourages good submissions!
