My company, The Trends Jewelry Inc., is looking for proposals for STORE INTERIOR DESIGN concepts for our new Jewelry retail chains. If we like your design, we can work with you for more detailed design work later on. We have the following requirements:

Note: this is for interior design of stores. NOT for logos or jewelry. I will upload my logo in a couple of days.

Principle: designs should reflect our value: Youthful, fun, stylish and funky.

Style: Minimalist desired, but open to other creative ideas.

1) Our proposed stores are typically square, approx. 20 feet by 20 feet (400 sq ft in area).
2) Our fashion jewelry and silver jewelry are funky, trendy and yet very budget friendly (priced at $15-$99).
3) Our target market are teenage girls and young women between 15 and 29 years of age, who have a taste for the most trendy looks but do not want to spend too much.
4) We aim to bring dozens of the newest jewelry designs to our consumers each month.
5) The stores should have a feel of being energetic, lively, inviting and elegant. They should NOT appear too expensive/higher-class/luxurious so that our consumers are afraid of coming in.
6) The design has to strike a balance of feeling both high quality and stylish and not prohibitively expensive at the same time. We want to attract as many students and young women to come in as we can.
6) We think a lighter tone with bright colors will work. But we are happy to listen to your great ideas.
7) Unlike a traditional jewelry store, we want to hang our fashion and silver jewelry in exquisite packages directly on the shelves. There has to be a balance between an easy/hand-on shopping experience that is almost supermarket-like, and a visual quality of stylishness and elegance.

Hi there, I'm working on your project, please don't close the contest before the closing date. I created the overall theme of the project, its a shop that has a corridor with display shelves, it has a minimal yet very young luxurious feel, which will go well with the points you mentioned in your contest description... the design is not final yet but please have a look... your feedback will be appreciated.

I think a simple graphic will do at this stage. But I also welcome 3D effects. However, I don't have any 3D software, so won't be able to render the file though.

Hello! Yes, it is for a jewelry store, not jewelry themselves. The store is pretty much square, with two adjacent stores to the right and left. It is not a Kiosk in the middle of hallway.

what is the layout of your store? Is it an open outlet store like a Kiosk in the center of hallway, or is it a shop with left and right adjacent tenant, only your storefront is facing the mall hallway?
