I believe the logo should stay simple and stylish, while still catchy. It should also be iconic, and can be recognized by a certain element of the logo. While modern logo can be complex and use gradient color, I like to keep it reproduce-able in various medium, so instead of putting real gradient and fancy graphic elements, I put gradient illusion (each letter actually has single color). This will make small size logo print (like on letters, envelope, business card, name tag, stickers) easier, not to mention applying to something like T-shirt. I'm pretty sure people will recognize this logo easily and make it top of mind when it comes to your service. All the best.
