Developed an implied volatility surface model for Walt Disney Company options using the Black-Scholes framework. Retrieved historical options data from Yahoo Finance across a maturity range of Apr 2023 - Jun 2025 and strike prices of $45 - $270. Performed preprocessing on the raw data and calculated time to maturity and implied volatilities.

Generated 3D visualizations of implied volatility surfaces for calls and puts to reveal insights into market expectations of future volatility. The distinct volatility smile shape indicates increased uncertainty for near-the-money options. The pronounced skew suggests heightened demand for downside protection through put options.

Synthesized quantitative analysis into a structured written report summarizing the methodology, visualizations, interpretation, and conclusions. Demonstrated proficiency in financial modeling, data analysis, quantitative interpretation, visualization, and written communication skills.
