Safe operational Depth of Buried Pipeline Under static and Dynamic Ground Overload
• Stress strain response of buried pipeline subject to Soil load and vehicles load was investigated. • Effect of Soil type, soil depth Variation of stresses with pipeline diameter were discussed. • Stresses induced on pipeline line under dynamic and static loads were investigated. • Safe operational depth for buried natural gas distribution pipeline was suggested.
Parametric Study of buried Pipelines Under Pressure and Loading Effects
The paper provides a detail study in support to find the critical parameter for buried gas pipelines underground overload. This study estimate the effect of the increasing external load, increasing depth, effect of operating pressure on the external load and increase internal pressure were monitored through a numerical simulation model
