Quindell Portfolio Plc delivers business transformation and technology enabled 'Champion & Challenger' re-engineering with sector leading expertise in Software, Consulting & Outsourcing in its key markets Insurance, Telecommunications and Related Sectors.
You will be working on a web based project, not only involving Quindell’s main site but 20+ other web sites.
Within this position, you’ll be working closely with our Marketing Executives and Web Development Team involved on various projects at the same time to ensure localization and personalisation. As well as being a SEO role, we are looking for a content writer to assist in the re-fresh of our extensive information across various platforms.
You will be responsible for reviewing and optimising site content. With a background in writing for SEO, you will ensure copy is keyword rich, employing relevant available research tools.
To grow our organic rankings, you will conduct keyword research and competitive website analysis ensuring our website content and crucially all news/blog information is fully optimised.
You will ensure synergy and Brand integrity across a variety of initiatives and campaigns.
Knowledge/Skills/Experience:
• Proficient in web analytics and SEO best practices
• Experience of onsite SEO within a specialist search agency or in a hands on client side role
• Excellent in English and Communications
• Proven editorial experience in the web industry would be a bonus
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented environment
• Self-motivated and ready to solve problems
• High level of attention to detail
• Able to manage multiple task simultaneously
• Proven Copywriting Experience
• Effective content development for websites
• Enthusiasm for creating strong communication messages
Desirable:
• Ideally GAIQ (Google Analytics Individual Qualification)
• Experience with Google Adwords
• Blog and social media writing experience
• Having Used Joomla CMS
We are offering a competitive contract rate for this position depending on experience. Hours: Mon-Fri 9am-6pm. Initially a 3 month contract, the role may evolve further and also an opportunity for the role to become permanent in the future.
