Web-based evaluation and Model-Based User Interface Design platform specifically conceived to promote a user-based design repository, which supports the design, analysis and generation of modeling artifacts. Moreover, it enables the adoption of model management tools as software-as-a-service that can be remotely used.
As input, the user submits the website URL or upload an interface screenshot. When this is done, the user presses the button “Start” to access the second page. In a second page the platform retrieve the desired web page and the user chooses the interface to be evaluated. The user presses the button "Analyse" to access the third page.
On this third page, several information are presented to the user:
1. A drawable canvas with in background, the webpage or screenshot previously
2. Generated models: This is the main part of the tool where diagram-based metamodel are automatically generated from the webpage or screenshot previously loaded:
A- Abstract model: Finite State Machine diagram that expresses any piece of interaction in a recursive decomposition.
B- Task model: a diagram that brings together the concept and the tasks descriptions produced by the designers for that particular interactive interface.
C- Concrete model: turns an Abstract model into an interactor-dependent expression.
All the models must be linked to each other. Any modification in the abstract model(edit, remove...) must be updated in both task and concrete model.
3. A vertical analytics panel on the far right part of the interface showing some analytics to provide information about the design and the generated models by measuring the costs of tasks and interactions.
The platform must help designer to get the right design by evaluating the models editing.
