Selling a Free Trial to Australian local businesses, for a software that helps them automate the colllecting of online reviews.

I own and run a SaaS co. that focuses on selling to local business customers in Australia. Normal every day businesses - plumbers electricians, roofers, chiropractors, dentists, financial planners, day spas, restaurants, and a whole lot more. Any business that has a Google profile listing and a bit of local competition.

Its a software focused on helping local businesses grow and compete through the power or online reviews. and automating the collecting of these positive reviews while internalising any negative feedback.

Its a relatively simple sale because most local businesses now realise they need consistent and good online reviews, particularly on google.

And you're not having to sell the software and get people to buy - you're just encouraging them to take up the no risk 21 day free trial, which DOESN'T require them to add payment details.

I'm seeking expressions of interest from people who would be keen to encourage local businesses to sign up to the free trial.

Ignore the hourly rate that the freelancer.com job posting system needs in order to submit a job, my preference is to talk with people who are open to some form of performance based remuneration.

And thats not for me to try and pay you less. Its for me to try and pay you more!

I’m looking to remunerate by paying $10USD for every single free trial signup. You get the $10 even if the business ultimately decides not to take up a paid plan - that part is on me. I just want the trial signups.

The reason its a great sale to make is:

- Its a simple concept - businesses know that potential customers check out their reviews to validate them or compare them to their local competition. And reviews are fresh, unique, user-generated content in Google's eyes, pushing the business up in local search results.

- Businesses have nothing to lose by signing up. It doesnt cost them anything at that stage. Nor do we take credit card details.

- You don't have to train the local businesses. Once they have signed up to a free trial, I will get onto them and provide this training.(That being said, you will still need to familiarise yourself with the software demo so you know what it does and how it does it).

There are some challenges though that you will need to be aware of. Local businesses like feeling like they are dealing with local people. If you're not in Australia its going to be impossible to teleport yourself here, and i certainly don't expect that. But you've got to keep things in mind like:

- What your phone number looks like when it comes through to someone (if they see an international call coming in they may not be as keen to pick up).

- Can you speak fluent English?

- Will you start with and email and then follow up? Maybe a loom video showing them compared to their competition?

- I won't be providing a contact list. Thats becasue you don't need one, as a simple google search for any niche for any australian town will show a bunch of prospects. But it requires being a bit strategic. For example, its better to target a business who falls outside of the local 3-pack search results, than a business already in it. It could be a good idea to target a business who is running google ads, but has a review average under 4.0 (or has less than 10 reviews) becasue they are wasting advertising dollars (because people will check out their reviews after seeing their ad).

Sorry for the long post here but wanted to give you enough to determine if you think this could work for you.

In your response, rather than a copy and paste job of your history, i would rather hear how you would approach this and how you might tackle some of the challenges that I raised.
