Custom Animation

Overview: A simple animation of a swimmer is required, playing on a long narrow screen (33m x .6m) on loop. Brief: The female swimmer needs to be animated to leisurely swim laps along the pool, the video is to be an eagle eye perspective of the swim. The aim is for the swimmers size to change as she swims across the screen. The swimmer will start off approx. 1200mm long to scale, and end up approx 2500mm long with her arms running off the 600mm wide screen. A storyboard sketch of the swimmer is attached. She is to swim freestyle, dive down and breaststroke underwater before resurfacing to swim freestyle, tumble-turn and repeat the actions in reverse. The animation of the swimmer swimming a single lap and back should run for approximately 3 minutes. This is the total length of the animation required, which would then be played on loop. *The animation needs to seamlessly transition when played on loop. A video storyboard is attached to show the swim styles and order. The animation needs to link each section of the swim seamlessly. [login to view URL] The swimmer is to have long blonde hair and a red swimsuit. The swimmer will also need a watery background similar to a rock pool, murky blue/green. Use Image1 attached as the reference for the swimmers colouring. Use Image2 attached as a reference for the water colouring. From a technical point of view, the video needs to be a cropped section that runs the span of the 33m as it plays like one big TV, I can confirm the pixels required at a later stage. The swimmers movements and colours need to read realistic through the screen. To start we would require a still image of the swimmer in the water to be created to check how it presents through the LED lights and glass panels. The image should be made to 32 Pixels high x 1760 wide - this is the resolution of the screen that will show the animation - the resolution is not high so the level of rendering does not need to be too high quality. We may need to adjust the colours further after testing to achieve the right contrast. Once the colours are approved the animation can be created. It is possible that the animation may require some further colour adjustment after it has been created as well. Please contact me if you think you have the skill-set to complete this task.
