I will need to review the details of the hardware so I know what is involved in writing the rest of the software. We should produce a user interface mock-up so we know how the finished product is supposed to look and work. Once those steps are complete, I can complete the rest of the development. I use an Agile project management system, which I will provide you with access to for the duration of the project, so you can keep an eye on progress and possibly add additional features/problem reports. Before we begin work in earnest, I will produce a set of "user stories" describing the various features, and allocate them to two or more sprints. You will be able to prioritise the work items and add/remove them from the backlog, if you want to. Part payment will be due at the end of each milestone/sprint, and no further work will be carried out until each milestone has been paid in full.
