Software: What I want the device to be capable of doing is displaying a few different types a different types of information on the LCD Screen. The Information would be : Date/Time, Load Rating ( 350 PSF ), Last time the device was inspected and by who, Name of Company, A Permit Number, And a Date for when inspection is due next. When the date for the next inspection has past and no inspection has been carried out an email notification should be sent the all people involved. All of this information would be input through the platform on the App or the website.
I would like the app to be able to update the next inspection date through the Bluetooth module. When this Report is sent the report would go to the website & app Platform and the device would be refreshed with a new date of next inspection. The app should be able to connect to the device using a Bluetooth module. When the report is sent the device should show the most recent date it was inspected and the date the next inspection is due. I would like there to be a system in place when the device is not being updated by the app that it is in idle mode so to conserve battery life.
Platform: A user should be able to Log into their account using the App or Website platform. On the platform they will be able to see how many devices they have, a log of all reports and inspections, when their inspections are due next, if their devices are coming close to an inspection date an email notification should be sent to the user and when the device is over
due its inspection a email should be sent everyday until the device is inspected. The user will will be able to check how many other users are joined to the account, they will be able to check and update payment options and make payments from their account page. When setting up a new user account there will be options for the user to decide if they are given admin status or just basic status ( i.e. View and upload Reports) . Also on the platform I would like the to be an option for the admin to purchase more devices, this being said there must be a payment options integrated into the site.
The App will be used to update the users platform and devices.
