I need a script written for Windows 10 to copy a bunch of files to different folders.
I have a USB music sampler (hardware device) which has a folder structure to which I can copy samples for playback.
It's a pain to manually copy a large number of the files to the device, so a macro run out of Excel on windows 10 would do the job and save me a fair bit of time.
See the .rar download for an example output file which will help make sense of what i need.
The sampler folder structure is 99 phrases and each phrase has 3 sample slots, totaling 297 folders as follows:
001_1
001_2
001_3
002_1
002_2
002_3
003_1
003_2
003_3
and so on, up to
099_1
099_2
099_3
The script is to create a master folder called "WAVE" and inside this folder will be the 297 subfolders with the correct files copied in to each respective folder. The script needs to be able to allow for blank slots and folders, so if there is no filename in the source filename column for some rows, a copy will not be performed for that row, leaving that folder empty. The sampler must have the entire structure, including empty folders.
The script would prompt me for a for a source folder where my source samples are. Samples are stereo 16bit 44.1k .wav files.
It would then list the filenames in Column 2 in an Xl spreadsheet along side Column 3 (destination folder names).
Column 3 has the folder names which will never change.
If i'm happy with the default order of the filenames (alphabetical), i then press a COPY on the page which will start the process off copying the files from the source to the chosen destination folders respectively. If not happy, i can first copy and paste the filenames around to suit what i need, then press the COPY button. When complete, i will then copy the "WAVE" folder manually over onto my device.

I need to have the color scheme created of the header row AND the alternate phrase block. This will help me see the individual songs more easily with alternate colors. I'd like the 2 buttons at the top. I'd also like to not have the path of the file listed as it will look messy.

I have excellent command on MS Excel and can write the code to copy over all the files as per your requirements. Please also share the demo file mentioned in the description for further understanding. I have completed complex projects in Excel before . For instance
