Fix to C++ Code for Dual Stack (IPv4 / IPv6) Interface

I have a socket program which is supposed to work with both IPv6 and IPv4 interfaces. What it does is work with one OR the other, but not both. The following interface has both addresses: 2605:6f00:877::a389:4ab6 and 38.109.217.106. In the below example, it works with IPv4 but not IPv6. In other cases, it is the other way around. The only thing to fix in this program is how the Connect is done. Everything else can remain the same. I am willing to pay at most $50 for this project.
