Magazine Editor Required

Looking to hire/contract a freelance or permanent part-time “Magazine Editor and Content curator” Experience in the publishing industry is a must, preferably with magazines or books. Experience may be in print or digital or both You will be taking clients from “Concept” to the finished product/magazine usually in a digital format but some clients will need printed physical copies. Skills needed for the position will include but not limited to the following: - A design background or possess great design skills with magazines/books - Possess an eye for detail and what works and really stands out in the magazine industry - Significant experience with Magazine layouts and design/content layout - Ability to identify Niche target markets for clients - Ability to research competitive markets and help identify a profitable niche market - Ability to research domain names, Facebook pages to see what is available in niches - Ability to organise graphic artists to design front covers (Or doing it if you have the skills) - Ability to curate/source relative content to target markets for our clients magazines - Ability to write articles or organise skilled writers to write content targeted to market - Ability to write List-icles or organise skilled writers to write content targeted to market - Ability to lease with and organise printing of the magazine for very competitive prices - To have a knowledge of copyright issues, media laws and industry regulations an advantage If this sound like you please apply
