Hello In the absence of real data I can only guess that this is a Supervised learning problem. I hope there is some metadata available also because the frequency of the requests(from particular set of IPs) is also very useful information to conclude the results. Please give me glance over the data so that I can give you more about the approach I will be using. I am working with machine learning projects for over an year now. Even right now I am working on a project in which we use user reviews (YELP Database) to analyze their sentiment.
