We have a PLC program that we have operating which at time causes lost production as the operators are unsure of exactly what the code is programmed to do. The operators are not technical so they cannot diagnose with the PLC software. A functional specification was not provided with the code.
We would like to have some who can take the code (attached) and "reverse engineer" the code to develop a functional description so that the operators can understand the logic of the PLC. I expect that the document will be of functioal description level of language and not a detailed function specification. I can provide an example of a functional description.
There is also a touch screen HMI which provides an interface to the PLC. Software backups of the PLC and HMI code will be provided.
The PLC is a Direct Logic 205. The HMI is a 10" C-More touch panel.
