write a self-opening responsive lightbox for website

Hey,
I need a lightbox for my website.
It is a prebuild marketplace and the only thing I can edit is between the <head></head> tags.
- the lightbox needs to open itself when the user visits the website
- the rest of the screen should become a background.
- it should only open itself once per session (cookie)
- it should contain an image which is defined by an URL in the code
- the whole code must be between the <head> tags of my website
- the image must be in the middle of the website (hor.- and vertically)
- the image must resize itself when the screen becomes too small (hor.- or vertically) while
keeping its proportions
and for that case, the distance to edges of the screen should be adjustable in the code
- the lightbox shall close itself when the user clicks anywhere on the screen
- it should also work on mobile devices and browsers.
Please use a lot of comments in the code so I can see where I can adjust
the background color, the opacity of the image and the background, the image URL, and the distance to the edges(for smaller screens)
