I run a music co for 4 [login to view URL] i have a simple music player software which you select music genre from playlists and plays music all day long in caffees-restaurants etc.
I wanted to upgrade my software about 15 months ago but the developers couldn't make it 100%to work so i lost 3 seasons-money and alot of time so if you are not sure about this don't waste my time, also no money until the project is done.
So, i have the tracks uploaded in a server not in mp3 format. I use a costum tool which change the file format that only my player plays. Also i use an .aspx site as a control panel that i can do actions as sign up clients and send new updated playlists/ add-delete tracks etc. And a back up tool (DropBox similar) which sends the files directly to clients pc. My service is not streaming. I send the files from the control panel (.aspx) and the software plays them directly from pc drive.
Despite the simple feats that i have now- play-stop-previous-next, create playlist ,sync to time etc, i want
* new interface (full screen view, modern graphics)
* sceduler (specific time playlist programme)
* track preview (when moving the mouse on a playlist, the tracks inside can be previewed)
* better file transfer services
* the new player must be upgrated in the future (i cannot change player from scratch when windows make updates)
Option 1: I can provide the code file of the last software in order not to start from scratch and just find what others couldn'[login to view URL] player just makes errors in some pcs and it's not reliable so far and i still use my first classic player based on adobe [login to view URL] code is writen in " .Net "
Option2: Start the coding from scratch.
