Optimise Wordpress

We have a Wordpress site that every few months exceeds the resource usage of the server, it happens for a day or so then will be fine for a few months. We need someone to go through the theme/plugins and find the cause and fix the ongoing issue. Our Web Host recently sent us this - CPU resources were limited for your site. You have reached entry processes (number of simultaneously running php and cgi scripts, as well as cron jobs and shell sessions) limit 75 times. I/O usage resources were limited for your site. I/O operations per second were limited for your site. Your Physical Memory usage was at 1023.92 out of 1024. Also, I can kill the processes. Please note that we run CloudLinux operating system on all our shared and reseller servers, and this allows us to isolate accounts in their own lightweight virtual environment with a limited amount of resources allocated to each account. These can include CPU usage, RAM usage and/or the number of concurrent processes running under your cPanel account. You can check the resource usage of your account by logging into your cPanel >> CPU and Concurrent Connection Usage. You can also view the real time live resource usage of your account by logging into your cPanel and looking at the stats down on the left hand panel of the page. If you are facing constant issues then you should be looking at optimizing the code on your websites, or upgrading to a VPS server. We find that a lot of resource usage issues are due to badly coded scripts, such as 3rd party themes or plugins. The best thing to do is look at optimizing your scripts, you need to review your code, databases from the web developer/designer for possible issues. Website speed, performance can be improved by optimizing script, images and database queries with best practices and available tools/technologies.
