Insert hidden images into select WordPress posts for RSS feed purposes

I need images to appear in certain WordPress posts (not all) so that they appear in the preview of the blog's RSS feed, but are hidden from the post in when viewed normally (to avoid duplicate images), perhaps using CSS. The best way I can describe the requirements for this project is with this four-minute video I made.
