Front End Developer

Context This company is a mobile marketing startup based in central Barcelona: they are changing the way customers experience high-street shopping through innovation in beacon and wi-fi technology, offering better deals for shoppers, and the chance for retailers to forge closer relationships with their customers. Challenges You will join the frontend team as developer and, if you feel comfortable, will share responsibilities on architecture and coordination. Together with the rest of the IT team, the front end team is in charge of creating and maintaining new features for our products (interactive Wi-Fi hotspots, back-office management tools etc.)   We strive to use best practices and tools: mobile first, responsive designs, agile methodology, comprehensive documentation, automated testing, [login to view URL] At least 2 years of experience in programming Experience with React and Flux (6 months or more) Experience developing SPA (Single Page Application) / RIA (Rich Internet Application) Strong understanding of web architecture and web technologies. Passionate about programming, software architecture and patterns, user experience, and best practices. Professional working proficiency in English. Bonus if you have: Exposure to other frameworks like Angular, Backboneetc. Experience with stylesheet tools like Bootstrap, SASSetc. Experience with automated testing (unit and functional) Experience with modern web development tools such as Grunt, Gulp, Bower etc. Benefits We offer a pleasant working environment in the centre of Barcelona with a small international team and a flexible schedule.
