Hi, I have, I believe, got the necessary skills to complete this project. First off you want a scraper, I'd write this in Python using scrapy. The number of sites and layouts will determine the time/cost for this section. The data, once gathered, will be stored into a database (I propose using Django for the webserver and DB). This database will then send push notifications. For the mobile app I have experience of developing with Swift. The exact content of this will affect time and cost too. This app will be able to receive the notifications sent from the Django backend. I don't have experience working with Windows or Android, so can't comment on how to create the apps and notifications there. The third part will be a Django website which displays the data from the database. Again exact designs, contents and pages will affect how this comes together, but I've worked with Javascript, Jquery and Angular as well as CSS3 and HTML5 so they shouldn't be an issue. In summary, we will use Scrapy and Django forming the basis of the project. I'd need more of an idea on designs and content to give you an accurate idea of price and timeframe, so consider the current number a placeholder. As it's tough to estimate how much work is involved I'd say that for this project in it's simplest format, we could complete in 2 weeks, but I expect it'll not be quite that simple. Hi, I can do this for you. I excel where other web scrapers can't. My recent reviews demonstrate this. If it is visible or clickable on the web then I can scrape it. My primary language is Python. I use the selenium and lxml libraries for these types of tasks. The phone app will be written in Apache Cordova / PhoneGap to support multiple platforms.
