Create a Custom Wordpress Page Template for Photo Gallery (Genesis Framework)

I'm currently building a new theme for my website at a staging environment at: http://vangelisbel.staging.wpengine.com.

I'd like to hire a developer to create a custom page template used for displaying a Photo Gallery with thumbnails and slideshow with the following characteristics:

1) On desktops the menu should be vertical (instead of horizontal that will be in the rest of the website) like it is on the theme I'm using right now at: http://www.vangelisphotography.com. On mobiles the menu should be horizontal (like the rest of the website)

2) The photos in the photo gallery should appear in 3 columns of masonry thumbnails like the website: [url removed, login to view] and I want them to cover the full-width of the page and be responsive.

3) I found a free Wordpress theme which I uploaded at [url removed, login to view] to test it, which uses the native Wordpress Gallery to achieve more or less what I'm looking for. I would like to incorporate the code from this theme to my theme with some changes (e.g.I would like the page to open the thumbnails first and when someone clicks on a thumbnail to open the bigger photo in a slideshow with autoplay. I would also like to have a Play button if someone wants to play or pause the slideshow etc.). More details will be discussed after the job is awarded to a developer.

I'm looking for a developer that will be able to write clean and good code so that the photos load as fast as possible. I also want the gallery to be responsive for smaller devices and mobiles. I'm attaching two photos of how the gallery should appear on a mobile (for both the thumbnails and slideshow).

Familiarity with the Genesis Framework will be considered a bonus.
