Data import from XML catalogues to MySQL (GNT)

Task is to fetch product catalogue and item details from XML to MySQL. XMLs contains **all information about products** (item description, vendors, belong to groups etc.). All this information must be fetched and stored in mysql tables in logical structural way. **Data tests:** ??" Please provide a SQL query/queries (view) for testing data import that would return **all item related information** from the database. Every record should have these two fields additional to the existing record fields: ??" import id (a key, identifying the import source and unique import number (01,02… or similar) ??" unique to every import ??" timestamp **Log table and errors** There must be a table, to log **errors** at import. The record holds: ??" erroneous record ??" error description (identification, to know what kind of error was encountered) ??" import id ??" timestamp An error is considered: ??" An item record without the mandatory attributes(Price, Name, Group ID): If you encounter another error type, please add to list! In attachment is all XML specification. For this task you will need only small part of it. ## Deliverables 1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done. 2) Deliverables must be in ready-to-run condition, as follows (depending on the nature of the deliverables): a) For web sites or other server-side deliverables intended to only ever exist in one place in the Buyer's environment--Deliverables must be installed by the Seller in ready-to-run condition in the Buyer's environment. b) For all others including desktop software or software the buyer intends to distribute: A software installation package that will install the software in ready-to-run condition on the platform(s) specified in this bid request. 3) All deliverables will be considered "work made for hire" under U.S. Copyright law.
