Photobook design and ordering application

**Overview** We look for a coder for for a photobook design and ordering application, which allows the user to layout his own photobook using predefined templates. Using an ordering component, the user should be able to upload the final product to a predefined ftp-server and place his order on a webpage. The endformat of the photobook has to be a ready-to-print pdf file. **features** * **platform independent** the application is written in java and offers starters for different os'es (win,linux,os x) * **xml-templates for photobooks** teplates are defining a specific layout of the photobook consisting of size, type of cover, price, * **xml-templates for page layouts** each page can have its own layout consisting of textboxes, imageboxes, background color, background images,... * **ability to save photobooks as projects for later editing** * **main-view** the main view consists of a filebrowser providing a treeview of the user's file hierarchy and a thumbnail preview panel and a design panel. the design-panel allows editing of imageboxes and textboxes (richtext supported - different fonts and styles) * **drag & drop support** * **simple image editor** allowing basic operations such as cropping, rotating,... of images * **ordering-component** after having finished his photobook the user places to project into a shopping cart, is informed about costs for print, delivery costs and total costs and can send the order to a predefined webpage. during ordering, the application uploads the photobook in pdf-format to a predefined ftp-server * **localization and internationalization** the gui needs to be localized supporting different languages (properties files or resourcebundles) ## Deliverables 1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done. 2) Deliverables must be in ready-to-run condition, as follows (depending on the nature of the deliverables): a) For web sites or other server-side deliverables intended to only ever exist in one place in the Buyer's environment--Deliverables must be installed by the Seller in ready-to-run condition in the Buyer's environment. b) For all others including desktop software or software the buyer intends to distribute: A software installation package that will install the software in ready-to-run condition on the platform(s) specified in this bid request. 3) All deliverables will be considered "work made for hire" under U.S. Copyright law. Buyer will receive exclusive and complete copyrights to all work purchased. (No GPL, GNU, 3rd party components, etc. unless all copyright ramifications are explained AND AGREED TO by the buyer on the site per the coder's Seller Legal Agreement). ## Platform platform independent (starters for windows, linux, osx) use of libraries allowing commercial use i-text library for the pdf-export
