Either facelift, re-design or a new site build from scratch.
I have the source-code in Joomla and Umbraco. For me it is a matter of time and price whether the existing site is face-lifted or a new site is made. You are the expert and can choose what you find most convenient. Perhaps you have a model which is easy for you to use.
The task is simple - make a site that looks like a million dollar brand :-) That is, the functionality of the site is rather old-school, but the design and quality of pictures etc. must be good.
The site represents a group of nature/fishing-parks in Denmark. We now are 14 members, and would like to become several more. Here is our existing, ugly site: [login to view URL]

Facelifting
If you choose to facelift the existing site, I need this done:
- The blue color in the frontpage must be changed to a lighter and friendlier color.
- The print-function must be changed so that when a guest enters the “member”-menu he can choose which members he would like to add to a list he can print. At the top of the print there must some meta-text.
- At the frontpage a banner-space for advertising under the map must be made.
- Some menu’s must be added. I need in all 11 pcs.

Members logon (Logon)
Most menu’s leads to one page mostly with text and/or pictures and perhaps a link.
- Some new functionality must be made
Under the menu’s Latest News (Seneste nyt) and Activity (Aktivitet og arrangementer) is a function where members themselves can write text and upload pictures to the site. This function is accessed through the “Members Logon”.
Newest data uploaded into these two functions must me visible I a box at the frontpage. That will make the frontpage dynamic. Header over each box: Latest News (seneste nyt) and Activity (Aktivitet & arrangementer)
How to generate unique logon's ?

Use what you can/will from the existing code and add what is needed.

The Joomla-editor makes it possible to handle 4 different language-versions of the same site, and to update the map at all 4 pages in one operation. The language at the map is then danish at all 4 pages, but that is OK cause it’s only addresses that needs no translation. Handling 4 different languages in one editor is good.
The entire site with one domain and 4 languages is build for promoting/marketing the members in 4 countries. I am not sure whether this is the right way to do it. Perhaps it is better to have 4 domains – a Danish, a German, English and Dutch, with the relevant version attached. This way I believe it will be easier for Dutch-men to find the dutch version when they use i.e. Google. Your opinion ?
It is essential, that the sites can be used progressive in marketing on the net, as we will use more money on i.e. AdWords than printed brochures. Guests from one country only have to look for one page – ours – and from here get info over possible places to go.
Is it possible ?....yes. Can you do it ?
When you calculate price and delivery-time then pls tell me which solution you choose. (facelift, re-design same code or new site)
